Dear ISS Pacific Placemakers,


Our workforce management solutions provider Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG formerly known as Kronos) has suffered a global ransomware attack and as a result our Kronos system is currently unavailable for ISS Pacific. We have been advised that no sensitive personal data is at risk, however the resulting outage may last for several weeks.


Since receiving formal advice about this incident from UKG, our support teams have been working in close partnership with our operational leaders to put solutions in place to ensure all our valued employees are paid in next week’s pay run.

What does this mean for our Kronos Users?

  • Unfortunately this will affect everyone’s ability to access Kronos to record time and attendance, see rosters and manage annual leave
  • For our employees using Kronos Clocks and the mobile Kronos App, data will still be collected on these devices on an “offline mode” so it is important that you continue to punch on/off as you would normally do.
  • The mobile Kronos app will automatically switch to offline mode, however there may be a slight delay to switch to offline mode.
  • The MyISS app remains available, however leave applications cannot be submitted via MyISS during this outage.
